The middle of the three big springs of Nahal Prat (Wadi Qelt), about 8 km north-east of Ma'ale Adumim in a straight line, reached from the Alon road past Kfar Adumim; its water flows in pulses. The site reopened on 1 July 2026: entry is free but only with advance registration.

Israel Nature and Parks Authority reserve around a spring in a desert canyon. It has the Tamar pool for bathing, a picnic area, the Faran monastery and hiking routes. Entry: adult 31 NIS, child 16 NIS.
