Ein Gedi Nature Reserve

Desert oasis on the Dead Sea with the Nahal David and Nahal Arugot streams, ibex and an ancient synagogue site, about 38 km south-east of Ma'ale Adumim in a straight line. After flood damage in May, only the accessible path to the first waterfall in Wadi David is open; check before going.
