Where to stay

Where to stay in and near Ma'ale Adumim

There is no hotel in the residential city. The closest beds are in the Mishor Adumim commercial zone, at a desert farm near Alon, on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem and at the northern Dead Sea.

We did not find a hotel, guest house or hostel inside the residential neighbourhoods of Ma'ale Adumim (checked 9 October 2026). The options below are all within about 20 km.

In Mishor Adumim (the commercial zone, about 4 km east of the centre)

  • Kassland Hotel: a large family resort hotel in the Kass Land complex beside the DCITY mall, with the Atlantis thermal spa and the Kass Splash indoor water park on the same site. The hotel's own site lists about 210 rooms and online booking; phone 02-677-4040. Source (opens in a new tab)
  • DHotel: DCITY still lists a 47-room boutique hotel on its 2nd floor, but the DHotel website now redirects to the Kassland Hotel site and shares its phone number, so book through Kassland. Source (opens in a new tab)

Near Alon (about 8 km north-east)

  • Genesis Land (Eretz Bereshit): desert zimmers with views over the Judean Desert and the Jordan Valley, a heated tent and a khan for groups, on a biblical-themed farm. Phone 02-9974477. Source (opens in a new tab)

In Jerusalem (Mount Scopus, about 6 km west)

  • Dan Jerusalem Hotel, 32 Lehi St: over 500 rooms on the slopes of Mount Scopus near the Hebrew University and Hadassah Mount Scopus, with an indoor pool and spa; the light rail is minutes away. Source (opens in a new tab)
  • Central Jerusalem has many more hotels; Ma'ale Adumim's lines 174-178 run to the central bus station area.

At the northern Dead Sea (about 16 km east)

  • Kalia Guest House, Kibbutz Kalia: a kibbutz guest house open all year except Yom Kippur, phone 02-9936333, near Kalia Beach. Source (opens in a new tab)

Renting a flat for a short stay

Short-term rentals in the city are offered by private owners on the usual booking platforms; search by neighbourhood (our neighbourhood pages link straight to the searches). Things to check:

  • Shabbat: no buses from Friday afternoon to Saturday night. Mitzpe Nevo, HaNachalim and the veteran neighbourhoods have many shuls within walking distance.
  • Protected space: Home Front Command gives Ma'ale Adumim 90 seconds to reach a protected space, so ask whether the flat has a mamad (safe room) or where the nearest shelter is. Source (opens in a new tab); the municipality publishes a shelter list and emergency information (opens in a new tab).
  • Getting around: Kikar Yahalom and the streets near the mall have the most bus lines.
